"Great Stick."
I always come back to the curly head. They’re not perfect but they are an extremely enjoyable to smoke. Occasionally you’ll get an uneven burn but it straightens itself out eventually. Great flavor and draw. Sometimes the wrapper is veiny. It’s a love hate relationship ??

"GREAT everyday smoke!"
This is my everyday smoke. I am on job sites everyday and this is a fantastic inexpensive and TASTY smoke. Not pretty but super tasty and the draw is fine. Ash doesn t hold but that is the only thing I don t care for in this stick. Not a Don Carlos but very very enjoyable!

"My go-to smoke!"
These aren t going to win any beauty contests, but they are consistently great. I like them in either natural or maduro. They have been at the top of my list for 20 years!

"Recieved 2 boxes Curly Head Deluxe, had been left outside by carrier for 2 days in 30 S temperatures. Allowed to equilibrate for 2 days, opened boxed to find no damage to wrappers, etc. A hardy cigar!"
This is my lawn mowing cigar . Somewhat rough, gnarly appearance but good flavor and taste, generally consistent burn.

"Excellent value"
Premium tobacco is used to make these short filler gems. The taste is excellent. The draw is flawless as you would expect with any Arturo Fuente. The construction is very good considering these are short filler cigars.

"Arturo Fuente Curly Head"
I ve been smoking Curly Heads for 50 years, actually a little longer than that... They used to come in bundles of 25, no bands, just bare cigars, I think, for $19.95, then they went to the cellophane with white painted lettering, at about the same prices, then the boxes of 40, Candella, Natural, and Maduro. Then, I don t know, cigars suddenly went Big Time , another bunch of names nobody ever heard of popped up, overnight. Heck, even women started smoking cigars. Who ever heard of such a thing? Well, welcome, ladies, I guess... just looked strange, is all. At least, fewer people would complain about me smoking... sure liked the nice cigar aroma my cars took on, over time. Then, Fuente went fancy, again: Henceforth, there would be no more boxes of 40 Maduros; if you wanted Maduro--which is my preference--you had to go to the Curly Head DeLuxe... Fancy box of 25, fancy band, cellophane tubes, and of course, a little fancier price. For a long time, years, nobody had the Curly Head Maduros reliably in stock; you d find a box or two in stock, occasionally, but you couldn t depend on it. A couple shops would--because of my status as a long-time customer--would hold a box or two for me, for a few days. I think Cameroon being at war was the reason. Them pesky artillery shells raise Hell with a tobacco field. Anyway, there seems to be a reliable supply, now, albeit at much higher prices, 80 Buckaroos, these days but you can usually find better pricing if you beat the bushes a little. Fuente appears to have maintained the quality, over time: the same premium short fill, from the cuttings of their premium cigars, the Red Colorado binding, and a very nice Maduro wrapper... overall, a damn fine cigar. Cigar Aficionado gives it an 80; I d give it a 98... couple of points off because of an irregular burn, sometimes. I have to constantly re-light mine. Frankly, I suspect the government. Several cigarette-smoking friends have complained that their cigarettes keep going out if you don t puff vigorously. I wish the government would remember this is America; I don t need a bureaucrat dousing my cigar because I ve exceeded the 10-second between puffs rule.

"For the Money"
Well I only had one of these so take that into consideration. I thought the cigar was great for the money; you get the classic Arturo Fuente taste for, well, me under $4 because I bought it at a local shop. I compared it to the Punch Elite which is about the same price. The Punch has stronger spice at the beginning but dies in the middle 3rd, then picks up at the end powerfully almost over powering. The Arturo was consistent all the way through to the end. The only negative in a A- way was it wasn't as strong a flavoring as you get with other Arturos. The burn construction ash were all there, no complaints. This will be a daily smoke for me for sure.

"More than I expected..."
Picked one of these up as one of several different maduros that I was trying. After a couple weeks of rest, lit it up and, though it didn t knock my socks off, I wasn t disappointed either. Burn was consistent and even, draw was easy, ash was tight and easily made 1-1 1/2 inches if left alone, flavor was a bit mild but a consistent mix of earth and wood reminded me a lot of smoking pecan wood with occasional notes of chocolate bitterish chocolate, like bakers chocolate and the last third brought in some coffee. Got a solid hour burn despite having to smoke the first half a bit faster than normal to get good smoke out of it. Overall, I d say a 7.5/10, I would keep a couple of these in the box for guests.

"unbelievable"
Wow... who would have thought ... A true Fuente experience. I had the pleasure of the Deluxe Maduro Curly head and was surprised, a consistent smoke with the wonderful full body flavor that is the mark of any Fuentes cigar, No runs w/ an even burn, and a smooth draw I allowed this cigar to burn out half way and resumed my smoke an hour later after dinner... again Wow ... light well, burned even... and same great flavor right down to the little nub... only because I continued to enjoy this one soon much... thanks

"Great Flavour"
What a great smoke, and affordable. Very nice taste, but mild and not overwhelmingly strong for a long stick!
