"NASTY!"

I AM NOT a Cigar Connoisseur . I am not into notes of leather, hints of hazelnuts, whiffs of burning old tires...etc . If a cigar tastes good to me, it tastes good to me. I did taste Hay once while smoking a cigar, but it may have been the cow pasture behind my house. I bought a 3 pack of the Churchills in this brand over the counter in the town I live in. I think this may be the nastiest tasting cigar I have ever smoked in my entire life. When I first lit this cigar, I thought, This tastes pretty good. I am going to enjoy this . However, at about 1/4 in, it began to taste bitter, then a lot more bitter, then another flavor showed up that made it taste Nasty AND Bitter. I put it away at about half way through, because by golly, I paid money for it and I was gonna stick out as long as I could! Apparently I m weak, because I couldn t finish it. Everyone s sense of taste is different, others may enjoy this cigar. I did not.

"Meh"

I ve smoked three bought over the counter with a 12-pack. Although the name and band design suggest a relation to a Cohiba or other fine Cuban, it s really not in the ball park. Not in the parking lot, even. Its basic sin, in my eyes, is that it s bland. Mine burned okay, construction was decent, but if you like meat and potatoes, this is mostly potato.

Was seriously surprised ....great cigar ! Good flavor great aroma...gives you that taste from Havana.

I am a maduro fan but for naturals you cannot go wrong with Churchill

I saw another review saying the taste was dirt like. I kind of agree although I don t mean it in too bad a way. They were... ok. I do like them but found other cigars in similar price range a bit better so far. It did burn nicely however. And it was not unpleasant at all just not something I would go out of my way to keep in stock.

"Hit and miss"

I have smoked about 7 of these I bought 10 and they are hit and miss. The flavor can be sort of “dirt like” sometimes and other times a decent almost nut like flavor. Good smoke output but unreliable burn. Sometimes they are hard, sometimes spongey. They really Just seem to be all over the map. Not terrible, not great. I don’t hesitate to pick one out of my box for a casual smoke but there’s so many others I’d rather grab.

"Good, inexpensive smoke"

These are a good, inexpensive everyday type smoke that I tend to like a little more, even, than the Casa de Garcia. Which is another good, inexpensive everyday smoke. I ve been smoking these things for 40 years and they ain t killed me yet. Try em, keep an open mind, and I ll bet you ll like em.
