"Good solid smoke"

While these simply aren t the same smoke they were back in the day they remain a good solid, medium-to-full tasty, pleasurable cigar. I recall getting by socks knocked off the first time I tried these several years ago, but just not the same now. The burn doesn t seem quite so razor sharp and the blend seems a bit less complex ... but they are still a definitely worthwhile stick. Famous has a time tested winner with these.

"An Achilles Heel"

I just finished smoking though a bundle of Toros. I have smoked the 3000 Torpedo before, but no the Toro. Right out of the bundle, these sticks impressed me. They are a box-pressed cigar, but not with the square corners most box-pressed cigars. I really like the rounded corners. The construction of all the sticks was flawless: no noticeable veins; no wrapper imperfections; consistent wrapper shading. Each cigar had a mild tobacco aroma. The lit well, and burned evenly. What more can I say? Well, the flavor was down-right horrible. From the first draw to the last, these cigars were harsh. I tried smoking the cigars as slowly as possible, but that didn t work. They were just harsh. Improve the flavor and you ll have a five-star cigar. I give them 3 stars; a little better flavor would be a 4-star.

Cigar is priced nicely and worth every penny. I got them on a flash sale and boy I didnt regret it. These are my new go-to when I can’t decide what to smoke. These hit my pallet perfectly. I’ve had to touch one up here and there but that doesn’t take away from the cigar. I love these.

I usually get the 3000 torpedo s, but they have been out of stock. I tried these instead and I like them very much. pretty much the same cigar, just a little larger. Sometimes I like a smaller cigar, I am very satisfied with these. I will order them again.

These cigars are my go to every day cigars. They consistently provide a great smoking experience. The draw is a very steady one with the burn very even. They are well constructed . I enjoy the flavor of these cigars as it moves from a little spicy start to a creamy finish.

Great cigar for the money! Construction is very good as well as appearance. First 1/3 of cigar is a little disappointing, not a whole lot of flavor or complexity. Burn was good as well as draw. 2nd 1/3 the cigar picks up a bit in flavor and strength. Still not very complex. 3rd 1/3 gets a bit stronger with slightly bitter flavor if you smoke to quickly. Overall great cigar for the money!! I would call it medium to full in strength and med in flavor. Will buy again!

"ROUGH AT FIRST BUT WARMS UP ONCE THE SUMMER DAYS ARE HERE"

I bought a pack of 20 and first smoked one back in April 2018 on a cold early spring day. Mine arrived packaged very tight and each cigar is more square instead of the usual cylindrical. I tried to reshape them without any luck. I first tried a straight cut and had trouble getting a good draw so I used a half inch nail to puncture the cigar and this helped tremendously with the draw. Once you do this, the draw is good, plenty of semi-thick smoke. At first you may get a little bit of a grassy taste but eventually you will get a few light notes of spice and nuts. The flavour stays steady throughout the entire smoking process which will last you a good 1 hour, or a little more than the time it takes to listen to the full Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here album. I paired it with a regular pilsner but probably would have been better with a nice sweet bourbon or whiskey. The burn is even and you never have to relight the smoke or fix it in any way. Funny thing about this cigar, the more I smoke them, the more I enjoy its company.
