"GREAT SMOKE"
Nice relaxing smoke after dinner on the porch with 4 fingers of bourbon on the rocks or cognac. I get 1 hr easily on this smoke. Many of my friends agree with me. Some of the wives who smoke this cigar agree also. Everyone likes the smell.

"Don t bother."
I purchased two boxes looking for a daily smoker, I received them and placed them in my humidor to rest a while. Unfortunately, I threw the boxes away so I couldn t return them. Out of the first 20 sticks 17 are so plugged and tight no air can be drawn through them. The 3 that I could draw kept unraveling as though very minimal pectin had been applied. I can only guess the next 20 will be hit or miss as to whether they will smoke or not. So far that make the 3 that I have smoked now very expensive and not worth the cost at all. If I m going to pay in the $20 a stick range, I look more top shelf. I won t buy anymore, and my experience makes me suggest for folks to leave this one alone. If I am the only one with this trouble, then take it with a grain of salt.

"Stale and dried out"
These cigars must have sat in the sun for most of their shelf life. The were hard as a rock out of the box and started unraveling halfway through the smoke

Not recommended. My first cheap cigar the was rolled so tight it doubled in size once you finally got it burning. Over 15/20 were nearly impossible to get a good draw.

"Bitter Wrapper Taste on Lips"
There is an exceptionally bitter wrapper taste on my lips when puffing. It s not the smoke, which is also quite flavorless.
Same issues exist with the Maduro .

"How To Ruin A Great Cigar"
5 out of 7 so far have drill hole down the center of cigar. I need to find out if other than robusto do they get better in the roll hole. This is a very nice cigar when you can smoke it. Really liked the retro and great flavor.

"Hole Down Legnth Of Cigars"
My first ever smoke of Nicaroma Connecticut cigars was excellent. BUT! So far after smoking 6 cigars 5 of them have a hole down center after first 1.2 inch. Then you cant draw and the cigar is totally useless. If you continue to smoke very hard the bottom half turns into a hard charcoal like substance. THis is too bad because the good cigar was excellent.
