"Irresistible"
Ever have one of those cigars in your box that your hand always goes to? The color of this robusto maduro is perfect, not being dyed or rushed makes for an attractive eye catcher. I sum the flavor up as savory ginger bread with a pinch of cinnamon on the finish. The construction is very nice with a thick, tough wrapper that holds tight the firmly packed long filler. I have smoked many expensive cigars that are no where near the quality of these VL 500 maduros. I have 60 more arriving today UPS. Famous you guys rock, keep up the good work.

"PLEASE keep making this line"
What a delight these cheapo bundle smokes are. I have never written so many reviews about the same line of cigars. Better construction and flavor than many cigars that cost 5 times as much. It is rare to find a bundled torpedo shaped cigar that is rolled this well. These are fantastic. Famous, PLEASE keep making this line and tell Nestor not to change a THING!

"Excellent"
Excellent value cigar. Bought several bundles over the last year or two. I'm partial to the maduro and habano wrappered robustos. If the quality continues to be this good and consistent (cross fingers), I'll keep buying them. They are easily on par with cigars costing 2 and sometimes 3 times as much. Sign up for Famous' email sales... sometimes you can catch them on sale for $19.95 per bundle. The closest I've found recently to that elusive good 5 cent cigar.

"good aroma maduro"
The beginning of this cigar was delicious, nice even smoke with a soft ash in the beginning before it begins to canoe. each and every one i had canoed a bit, takes some relighting to even them out, the taste is musky with some hints of mocha on the palate for the maduro which seems similar to a brazillian maduro taste wise without the viens protruding. the draw is a good bit loose as these cigars are not packed with tobacco, quite the opposite as they are quite loose made similar to a fuma or sandwich cigar as do not be fooled into thinking these were ever premiums as they do not have half the tobacco of a normal premium cigar this size. the wrapper will break some unless they are kept in the humidor for weeks, even then expect some burnign problems and cracks in the wrappers as well expect hot spots in burn to emerge once the cigar is begun. Another typical bundle of crap offered by Famous, as ive yet to have any bundled cigar from Famous even remotely resemble a premium constructed cigar as these burn all over the place after a decent beginning which is very tricky in that each starts out well then becomes the piece of crap you were expecting it to become, not to worry it will not be close to a satisfying smoke, it;ll be the cheap piece of crap you exepcted at a cheap price. it wont be fascinating and it wont taste terrific, but its a cigar, a definitely cheap made cigar that sells for a cheap price.

"Great for an everyday smoke or more"
I was surprised to find this level of quality for a $1.50 cigar. The construction was excellent, the packing was perfect for an easy draw, but not to lose as found with many lower end cigars. The flavor was similar to a punch, and I was able to put it down and relight it later and still have a great cigar. The burn was fairly even, with only occasional torching on an edge necessary.

"the worst"
These are the worst cigars i have bought from cigar auctioneer. They are dry and are coming undone. There is no taste at all and the are torpedos, not like they were pictured. I have gotten some reasonable priced cigars that tasted great but these are the worst.

"Pleasant surprize"
Got a bundle of these several months ago and put them in the humidor. Two weeks ago, I opened the bundle to try one. Very pleasantly surprized. I have been smoking these frequently since then and have even purchased several more bundles to season in the humidor.
