"Stellar"
Not a huge Perdomo fan, but this stick surprised me with the flavors. Great construction, even burn, and a sweetness that I really enjoyed. For the money, it's tough to beat this as an everyday, medium bodied smoke. I will definitely get these again.

"One of the best"
Hands down one of the best smokes out there. Perfect burn and full of rich flavors. I have only had the robusto and it blew me away. I now pick them up every time they are on sale. Grab some if you like a rich smooth full flavor flawless smoke.

"Perfect in every way"
I just finished up smoking this cigar and I was blown away. From the beginning I noticed how perfectly this cigar was constructed. What few veins existed in the wrapper leaf were lined up perfectly by the roller and were perfectly straight down the shaft. The flavor was consistent throughout the burn and was cocoa with a sweet aftertaste. The burn and draw were perfect and never needed a touch-up. This is one that will stay in my humidor and I am interested to see how the flavors blend after aging for 3-5 years. Enjoy!

"The Best, Period"
I came to USA recently from a country where Cubans were plently available and strugled for some 6 months to find a smoke that really excited me. I got all kinds of Padrons, Ghurkas, Joyas, Rockys, Ashtons and Alecs. All good cigars but missed something. Decided to try this one which came in a sampler I got and kicked in the chair right in the first puff. Got another 10 and am right now smoking my second one and felt compelled to share my excitement here. This is now MY cigar. Even if some day I get back home these will sit right besides Partagas D4, Montecristo #2 and Bolivar Belicoso Fino in my humidor. A real masterpiece by Perdomo! My first rate 100 just because I can't rate it above 100.

"Top shelf cigar"
Starts out a bit spicy, but changes to toasted wheat and almonds by the half way point. Then changes to deep rich espresso and carmelized nuts on the last third. Powerful cigar all the way through- recommended for the experienced cigar smoker. right on at $7 a stick. A solid 90 point cigar.

"First one, compares to Griffin quality"
One of my favorites now. Had no idea what to expect. Took a chance and got a box for on Cigar Auctioneer!!! Griffin Robustos have been my favorite and this cigar is a different experience but has the same level of quality--flawless smoke from start to finish. Mild-Med. For me, first 1/3 was creamy, fragrant but not sweet, like bitter dark chocolate. Smoke got a bit drier in 2/3 but still nice tobacco flavor. Last, 1/3 was driest and not like dark chocolate at all but had a nice toasty taste. Like Griffins, the smoke coming off the stick is near aromatic, but not in an overbearing way...subtle and luxurious. After exhaling, it's pleasant to catch a just a little of the smoke back into your nose. Smoke this in a room with still air to fully appreciate. I guess I like mild cigars with subtle complexities because I tried a Graycliff Expresso earlier (got it in a sampler)and I wanted to puke after the first 1/3--nothing enjoyable about that!?? Well, to each his own. BTW, I really like the My Father cigars too (tried the sampler of 6, all of them great sticks, but pricey). This Perdomo Patriarch is the best smoke I've had for the money so far...even if I didn't get it for the steal of a deal it is still worth it. I'm so stoked about getting these cigars! :)

"Better than a Cuban MonteCristo #2 I had lately!"
I bought a pack of 5 of these off monster.com to try because I've had good luck with the lot 23s. The first 3 I tried were ok but not outstanding, but this last one... oh my! After 5 months in the humidor and with a manhattan on a cool evening on the back porch I'd rate this a 95! The cigar was absolutely perfect. I ashed once! That's right once! And I smoked it to the nub it was sooooo good. Maybe the 3 ounces of Bookers, 1 ounce of italian vermouth, 1 spoon of cherry juice helped but it was one of the best I've had in a while (and I've recently smoked some cuban Monte Cristo #2s). Would recommend this to anyone now and will save the last one of the bunch for a special occasion. Kudos to Perdomo for making such a great smoke.

"Everything a cigar should be"
I have yet to find a Perdomo that disappoints. In general, Maduro's are not my favorite, but oddly, a couple of the my top cigars are, including this one. This one has just the right amount of everything I imagine a cigar should. Great, complex taste, strong but not overpowering, nice aroma, slow burn, easy draw, nice construction. Two thumbs up on this one.
