Partagas 1845 Coaster Set
"Great coasters with one major flaw"
Beautiful coasters; shiny chromed edges with what appears to be a thin leather (or faux)top. The one major flaw is that the top cover with the Partagas logo tends to peel around the edges and rise upwards. I have tried gluing it down but still tends to pop upwards a bit making the coasters not as attractive. I also wish the coasters were a bit heavier as wet (think condensation on beer glasses) will cause the coasters to stick to bottom of glass/mug.

"Draw issues ruin a great taste"
This is my 1st Partagas of any type. I bought the coaster tin variety job several months ago and finally got around to lighting this 1845 up. The appearance is rough. Thick veins beneath a chocolate brown, rustic looking wrapper and I don t mind that as long as the stick burns right. It does at 1st, but then it turns into a chore less than 1/3 in. Draw becomes almost a plug for a while. Flavor is almost sweet and surprisingly mild bodied. Sweetness fades around midway point as the body suddenly creeps up. That or I m light headed from the tough draw. I squeezed and rolled it around to loosen the draw and that seemed to work for me. Smoke increases afterward. I stopped at the band. In spite of the draw issues, I d be willing to try this in a different vitola. Flavor was good to very good and ash was pretty good. Odd how that works. Oddly, it never need a relight. If these were better built, they d be a top tier cigar.

"Should come with free draw poker"
All 20 plugged solid. Lousy flavor - and a complete waste of money. Smoke Padron instead. Burn was ragged - just a joke.

"...a dream..."
Big and bold. Once I figured out how the box opened I found an excellent looking cigar. The appearance was excellent and the draw and flavour was consistant all the way through. This full bodied cigar had a nice tone throughout and the ash was wicked.

"Just plain good!"
I ordered a bunch of 5 pack samplers and didn't expect much from this stick. I was wrong. The 1845 is everything a cigar should be. Yes, the wrapper doesn't shine like some others but it comes through big time in flavor, draw, and consistency. I WILL be oredering a box.

"Great Cigar"
HAve smoked a few of tghese and they are one of my favorite smokes. I usually go for mild to med. stick an tried on on the advice of the local shop owner. I was very impressed. Every one I have had burned even to thge end. Never got bitter and offered a pleasant full flavor and awesome aroma. I smoke them till my fingers have no more room to hold on and even then there is ni bite or bitterness. can't say enough about them.

"Hidden Gem"
My friend Cantpar1 lol, don't ask, told me about this cigar. For weeks when I wanted to try new cigars,I ended up going with what I new was good. I'm here to tell you, this cigar is worth the purchase and more. The taste was awesome, the draw was good and I felt bad at the end because I wish i had another one.A must buy. i rate my cigars on a scale of 1-10. This cigar is a nine.

"Great full-bodied smoke"
If you crave a full-bodied smoke, you will fall in love with this cigar. There is a pleasant hint of sweetness, especially at the start. It remains smooth without any trace of bitterness to the very end.

"Ehhh"
I heard good things about this cigar so I decided to buy a single. I was given a bad impression from the get go. There was an gigantic vein running down the entire cigar, with other medium sized veins around, and towards the head it got lumpy. I really didnt get much flavor out of it either. It was very bland so I gave up halfway through. I have a feeling that I just got a bad stick, but I wont be trying it again. Too angry
