i couldnt imagine a finer stick these were made of some of the best leaves and from what i could tell after breaking a few down for compost whole leaves all the way through they earn their price

"Consistently poor"
Had a five pack. Each of the five had terrible draws, unlike almost all other Montecristos I have had. Two of the cigars were so bad that I tossed it after only a third.

"Great cigar, horrible quality control"
Halfway through my first box and already 3/5 that I have smoked had major flaws. Huge stems right in the middle of the cigar blocking the draw. This is a very tightly rolled cigar, not sure if it is just the box I got, but its a tighter draw than almost any other cigar I ve had. Fantastic flavors, great burn

Another excellent Montecristo. Great draw and burn. Very tasty Full body but not over powering. Pricey but Famous Smoke has some special sales. It’s worth the $10.00 a stick. Try one. Definitely a thumbs up.

Great cigar. Nice plume under the Spanish cedar wrapper, great construction and burn, GREAT taste that leaves you burning your fingers wanting more. I’ll try to always keep some of these in the humi from now on.

"Not great, but not that bad"
The shining star on these is that they taste really good. The black mark is that they burn really poorly. The mineral flavors are reminiscent of Cubans, and they have a very nice sweet leather flavor profile to accompany it.
But man, I’m on my fifth and final one of these, and they are a chore to smoke. Constant burn touch ups and re-lights.
In terms of flavor, this is a steal. In terms of performance, it’s not great. If you don’t mind nursing a cigar for 90 minutes for the reward of a very pleasant and unique flavor, it wouldn’t hurt to try one. I’d definitely sample one before you spend big money on a box though.
