"Cedar Chateau No 2 is the way to go"
La Vieja Habana cigars are well constructed with an even burn, easy draw, and creamy smoke. I keep a good supply of Cedar Chateau #2s on hand at all times. Recently, I tried the Robusto Tubos expecting a milder version of the Chateau #2, but put it out disappointed. Sure, construction and burn were great, but the taste wasn't what I had hoped for. These seem bitter and harsh compared to the "full" bodied Chateaus and leave an unpleasant film in the mouth. Hopefully a bit of aging will mellow these out, but for now I'll stick with the Chateaus for a taste AND price that can't be beat.

"Outstanding!"
I picked up a box of 20 for just $11. These smokes usually retail for $60, so I got myself a nice deal. This smoke measures at 6.5 inches and 48 ring gauge. It is well made by the folks at Drew Estate. It is well constructed with short and long fillers. It is a medium bodied smoke that is perfect for those who enjoy a mild smoke. It burned evenly and caused no problems. I burnt this guy all the way down to my finger tips. MonkeyDan@Cigarmonkey Rating: 87

"Best tasting but short filler keeps you spitting"
This is one of the best tasting cigars I have ever tried. Got hooked on them a few months ago and have been re-ordering ever since. The only down fall with them is the short filler. It seems lately that they are using more of this than when I first tried them. It is best to smoke them outside where you can spit out the little pieces. For now I am still a devoted fan.

"Boutique Cigar, Big Value"
I have been a devotee of these cigars since their first limited production run at the end of the boom. I am glad that they are back now. This is an everyday cigar, not too strong with just enough flavor for a good daily. There are some construction problems and the ash can be flaky, but for the price they can not be beaten. The smoke itself has an earthy aroma with some fruity hints and maybe some anise, the finish is earthy but can be a little harsh. The draw is the hidden value of this cigar, it's "loose" contruction leads to the flaky ash, but allows for the easiest drawing smoke you'll encounter. I recommend this whole brand to anyone in search of value in an everyday cigar.

"You buy-You'll like"
Ordered these a year ago on sale. Tried and really liked them. Then they went off my radar. Ordered again 5/05 on a trial. Received and they looked dry. Put them in my humidor for only 2 days. What a great smoke. Glad I stumbled on them again. Would highly recommend.

"Get a box of these and give 'em a dance!!"
These things are great, look at the price for Pete's sake! Sure it's a mix fill, but wrapped very well. Construction is right on, plenty of zesty smoke. Medium body with it's share of spice and good good flavor. Forget the bundle grab these!

"A pleasant surprise"
I was very sceptical about this brand given its low price, but very surprised with its quality. I bought a box around Christmas and I have let them sit in the humidor since then. They are well made, but seem to smoke a little hot. For the price they are a very good smoke and a great smoke to take while walking the dogs.

"The Price is Right"
You get more than you pay for with this stick. Be prepared for some stems and irregularities though. Who can complain for less than $2.00 a smoke. Great but for the golf course, or for unappreciative friends.
