"Can't go wrong with this one."
Had this with my morning coffee. My first LVH, have to say that, for the price, you just can't go wrong. Full, creamy flavor. Lots of smoke, good burn to the last inch and a half. Gave me 45 mins of relaxing pleasure. Keep a toothpick handy, you'll nub this one.

"THE BEST CIGAR IN THE PRICE CATEGORY YOU CAN SMOKE"
THESE ARE THE BEST SMOKES IN THIS PRICE CATEGORY YOU'LL FIND. IN FACT THE ENTIRE LINE HAS GREAT VALUE. ONLY VERY HIGH PRICE CIGARS CAN COMPETE WITH THESE FOR THE FLAVOR, BURN AND CONSISTENCY THESE OFFER. IT'S WORTH A BOX TO TRY AND DISTRIBUTE TO ANY CIGAR NOVICE OR EDUCATED SMOKER.

"Thumbs Up !!!"
I agree with all the others... this is one of the VERY BEST deals in all of Cigardom. I've been smoking the #3s and they are well-built, tasty, and priced to make them an "everyday" stick for almost anyone. Will also agree the packaging is offbeat but I don't smoke the box anyway.
Definitely a "Must try" !

"Good with a bourbon"
In college, I smoked cigars every now and then, usually 7-11 brands like Backwoods and Phillies (washed down with a cold PBR). As my tastes and income grew over the last few years, I decided to experiment with cigars again. Not knowing anything about them, I walked into the liquor store and chose La Vieja purely on its wrapper. I liked the taste and the aroma, but really had nothing to compare it to. After a few years of testing cigars, I must say that La Vieja has a great cigar for the money. I've had better, but never for the same price, and I've had much worse that cost me more. Although I wouldn't smoke one for a special occasion, I'd gladly light one up along with a glass of Knob Creek on my deck on a cool fall evening.

"The Best Cigar for the Money"
From the packaging to the last draw this cigar was AWESOME!!! I don't think in 20+ years that I have been smoking cigars I have smoked one as pure and smooth as this one. If anyone smokes mild to medium cigars and wants to move up to full bodied, this cigar is your passage. This stick had no harsh overtunes whatsoever. Definetly going on my favorites and ordering more on my next order. Don't miss out on this one.

"Definite must have for value conscious connoiseurs"
These cigars have become one of my favorite everyday smokes. Excellent burn, flavor, and volume of smoke. I am yet to share one of these and not get the same positive comments. These are a must have for the value conscious smoker. The short filler, as others have said, can become a little annoying, but a small price to pay for such a great smoke!

"I was surprised"
When I got them....I was surprised. The box was not very well-assembled and almost popped open and spilled them out onto the floor. That aside, the cigars themselves are great. I am, by all definitions, a novice smoker that is new to the field. I bought these mostly to keep visitors from my better cigars. After smoking one, I am very happy with them and am quite shocked at the pricing for such a well made, smooth even-burning cigar. The taste to me was smooth, and not overpowering, which is important to someone just starting out in cigars. I did get mouthfulls of grit, almost like fine sand. This may be something of a normality in the industry, but I have not tasted this in a Rocky Patel, Sancho Panzo or AF cigars that I have enjoyed regularly. Will not hesitate to get another box in the future.
