"Excellent all the way around"
The entire La Aurora Preferidos #1 lineup are excellent cigars. The maduro is a very pleasant and flavorful smoke. At the top of my list of favorites. Even better when I can get a great deal.
Definitely best after seasoning a few weeks in the humidor.
Have compared with Cubans while in Cancun and they are great before or after a Cuban. Can t say that about many sticks I have had. Lots are great before but make me wonder what I liked about them if I try one after.

"Poor"
First one I smoked really enjoyed. Second one which I am rating was very poor, could not get the cigar to draw even after trying to unplug. Poorest constructed cigar I’ve seen in years.

"Outstanding"
I wish more were available to order right now. This is truly an exceptional smoke, and well worth every penny spent.
There is very little development in flavor from start to finish, which is not a problem in this case, because the flavor is dynamic throughout. It is a medium to full bodied smoke that tastes like sweet leather, espresso, and dark chocolate. It is not too much of any flavor though. It just keeps drawing me back for puff after puff.
The draw is absolutely perfect, mouthfeel leaves nothing wanting, and the aroma is heavenly. I have smoked three of these now and burn was perfect on each one.
This truly is a gold standard in cigars, one that I will remember and seek out.

Excellent burn, construction etc. The taste was of cedar and a hint of cinnamon. This is a great tasting cigar and worth a purchase.
