I was curious to try after reading the positive reviews, as I was looking to add variety to my morning cup of coffee pairings.
Im writing this as Im smoking it for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by this cigar! Relatively mellow, and creamy smoke, which I love. Creamier than the Oliva Connecticut Reserve. Yet it still has flavours you can enjoy, with notes of light wood, nuts and some earthiness. Not as flavourful and nuanced as some other highly regarded Connecticuts, but decent flavours nonetheless. Pairs very nicely with a morning coffee with some cream, though I dont think Id have nice after a steak dinner with a stronger drink for instance.
If you like mellow, creamy Connecticuts, you cant go wong with this cigar!

The Oliva line is one of my favorites and they did not disappoint with the Georges Reserve Robustos.
Very smooth, even burn, easy draw...they have it all at a great price.

"A nice find..."
This is a far better cigar than the price might indicate. I have to admit, I never gave it a try til recently. A pleasant surprise.
It starts off smoothly with a balanced taste of well-aged tobacco and just a bit of spice. A perfect coffee cigar. It stays pretty much the same until the last third. That’s when it kicks up in strength and keeps your interest.
This will forever be in my humidor now. An every day value smoke that delivers beyond many more expensive cigars.
