CAO Maduro Belicoso
"My favorite cigar though canoes like a Mohican"
I have finished my 4th box of 20 CAO L?Anniversaire Maduros. It is by far may favorite cigar. I am always sad when the nub is so small that it burns my fingers and I must put it out. The flavor rises with each puff to a wonderful crescendo at the very end. They do canoe like a Mohican though. --BaroquenHorse

"Excellent Flavor"
I have been looking for a good Maduro cigarillo for some time. I came across these at my local cigar shop and decided to give them a try. I was very pleased with the product. CAO continues to be one of my favorite brands.

CAO Maduro 10th Anniversary
"One of the best I have smoked"
Wow...I ordered a box of these after reading some reviews. I am a maduro nut, so I feel I can speak with some 1st hand knowledge. I have smoked some CAO's in the past and enjoyed them, but not as much as the Vintage Rocky Patels, or even Macanudo Baron De Rothschild Maduros, which are very flavorful. Of course, my wife loved the box, hand rubbed red laquer, befitting an anniversary editon. Box pressed, and tapered, I loved this cigar right from the start, and relished it to the end. It is full of flavor, burns evenly, and right now I consider it my favorite. I am awaiting some Fuente 858 Maduros, which I understand are excellent as well, but I HIGHLY recommend these CAO's.

"A Favorite in my Humidor"
I have smoked many of these cigars and have found just about every one of them to be a very nice smoke with a consistent draw and flavor. Each stick has produced large amounts of smoke and a medium to full body. There burn consistency has been fair with some unevenness for the first third but then grows more even down the stick. Its flavor renders rich dark chocolate when drawn cool and a slightly bitter espresso when drawn hot. I have had a few of these in my humidor for over a year and they get smother and more chocolaty with age. Age will take away from some bitterness. A Belicoso will take about an hour to smoke with no relights. A very enjoyable smoke if you give it time.

"Wow!"
Great draw, probably the best I have ever smoked and it burned even, but OMG was it FULL flavored. A bit much for me, I will try again later after I recover.

"STOP THE LAQUER!"
Ok now I am seriously bummed, for the lack of a better term, Somebody needs to Dope slap the CAO folks so they will stop RED LAQUERING the inside of the boxes or at least wait for the paint to dry before packing!
Three boxes in row from different dealears that the paint has imparted a noxious flavor to the tabacco! CAO! LISTEN UP! Go back to the old box before you destroy these beautiful puros reputation! I am storing the cigars naked in their own humidor for now, and the paint flavour seems to wane with time, but come on!

"Strong, almost bitter."
I had no problems keeping the cigar lit, even left it for a few minutes and came back to it, no problem.
However, I found the cigar to be too bitter for my taste and I do enjoy maduro cigars. Still tasting it today after smoking it last night.

"BEYOND BOLD!!"
This a wonderful cigar, but not for the novice smoker who is looking for a "nice" cigar. It is bold, extremely full bodied and aggressive. The construction was superb as was the draw and the ash was a thing of beauty. If you want an in your face Maduro, this is the one. I loved it!
