"Not Bad"

I ordered a 5 pack. They’ve been in my humidor for 2 months. Smoking on one right now I used a straight cut with my cigar scissors. The flavor is what I like in a natural cigar, but I’ve had serious burn issues with this 5 pack. Maybe this is just a bad pack. I usually smoke the 1964 brand Padrons. They have superior construction verses these. Even the smaller series sticks I’ve had no issues. The draw is what I’ve always liked with the Padron brand even when using a punch. But I like my draw wide open so I’ve been leaning towards a straight cut. The burn is evening out going into the final 3rd. Love the size of this stick but I never had burn/construction issues with smaller series sticks.

An excellent cigar, good flavors, not harsh, well balanced. New and old cigar smokers will enjoy this cigar down to the nub and you will easily get spoiled with it. It s not the prettiest looking cigar, but don t judge a book by it s cover. Just wish they would use at least a double cap, so punch it instead of cutting.

The Padron 1000 series are my favorite line of cigars. I usually smoke the 4000 and 5000, but they are all been excellent. Great quality at an affordable price. I love trying new cigars, but you never know what you will be getting until you try them. I smoke these Padrons when I need a cigar that I know will be great. In all my years of smoking these, I have yet to find a bad one.

"Workhorse"

Padron. What can you say? It s a flavor like no other. I ve smoked the real expensive Padrons and the flavor is pretty much the same with some slight variations. Milk chocolate, walnut, buttered toast. Just enough spice to get you in the back of the throat and keep you interested. A solid tobacco flavor, nothing too fancy. I think of Padron 4000 as what the old timey smokes must have been like 150 years ago. Rolled nice, tons of smoke, not slick and smooth and flashy looking. They won t fall apart if you smoke on it for 2 days and leave it in the ashtray. You don t need to smoke it halfway down to unlock the flavor. I ve never had a bad one.
