"First Natural cigar I ever smoked, still my favorite!"

I have smoked machine cigars for quite some time, but the funny thing is, I combined machine cigars with smoking Natural Tobacco as well and this cigar was my very first Natural Tobacco cigar and I still remember the very day I first capped one and lit it up with matches, it was an earthy delight and still is!

I have a little trouble with punch cutting the cap on these they fray so I end up chopping it off flat but the smoke is a good not too full but substantial. Good burn line; needs a TINY amount of help here n there typically three to four spot re-lights the whole way but I tend to have high expectations on this anyway. I prefer a solid glow line on the base of the ash because I know then that I m getting the most flavor from the wrapper. the no.7 is nice and chunky and takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to smoke. Flavor is simple; nutty with a little spice but the great thing is there s not too much actually virtually no leather which I don t fancy anyway. Don t smoke it too hard or she ll get bitter on ya without much warning. GREAT with a cup of coffee. I will make another review on the Famous 365 Toro natch wrapper a week after they come in so they can get some z s in the humi and will follow up over there on a sort of budget smoke shootout I ll see y all soon!

I am surprised the Don Mateo isn t among the top 40 brands. I have moved it to the top of my list for value and satisfying smoke.

"They're OK For The Price."

Don Mateo #7 The Bouquet was mild and reminded me a little of soap. The Draw was ok but easier than I like. It maintained a good Finish however the cap started to come unraveled. Over all I would not buy a bundle again.

This was a random purchase and I m glad I did. The cigar is great and smokes very well. I prefer a medium to mild cigar and the draw and flavor of this cigar exceeded my expectations. This will be a constant in my humidor from now on.
