"Not what expected."
Mild flavor but bland. Cigar needed more frequent attention to prevent it from dying, requiring frequent toasting.

"Smooth creaminess straight from Heaven."
I love this long lasting pleasure of smooth creamy smoke with flavor throughout the party I m my mouth! Good long lasting burn, easy draw that produces clouds of smoke, each cigar is consistent from start to finish, the construction is fantatisco with no tear or unraveling problems!

"One of my favorite smokes."
This is a mild but very flavorful smoke that has been a consistently excellent smoke for me for at least the last decade. I can't afford to smoke them all the time but I buy a few boxes a year and smoke them when I have friends or family over. They never disappoint. Nice flavor, beautiful aromatic smoke. The least constant thing has been the ash but its not that important to me. For me this cigar is an affordable and enjoyable luxury.

"Overrated and overpriced"
At the time of this review the rating for the Classic Churchill natural is a 97. This just seems way too high of a rating. That's next to perfect. Huh!!!??? The cigar seemed to be well constructed, cut easily, but was a little slow to light. The burn was OK, mostly burning consistantly and the draw was very nice. The ash didn't hold up very well as it dropped very early, held a while, then dropped quickly again. This didn't seem to effect the taste though as it has for other cigars I have smoked. The aroma was nice and the taste was good but not "Oh my God" good. A pleasant enough smoke although I was getting bits of tobacco in my mouth regularly. Not that big a deal. It stayed lit with no sign of quiting on me. Overall it wasn't a bad smoke, in fact it was good, but to be rated so high and sell for over $10 a stick I was expecting MUCH more. Taste being subjective, I am glad others like it so much, but for me, I'll pass for cheaper and equally good cigars.

"Excellent cigar"
This is one of my favorites. Great taste (though mild), great burn, and overall just a great cigar.

"Smooth thru Every Draw. No harsh. No bitter. Wow!"
I wanted a Mild cigar. Compared this to the mildest Ashtons, Macanudos and CAO. Only the CAO was close. And, while the CAO had a wee bit more flavor, the Montecristo Classic was consistently smooth from first draw to last. No bitterness at the end, and no disappointing change in texture or creamy smoothness at any third of the stick. Simply put: the smoothest and mellowest and most pleasant smoke available among premium cigars (not including Cuban or Davidoff) - in my experience. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. And, everything was right. The KING of mild premiums.

"Very good cigar - also not for me"
Received one of these in a sampler that was too good to pass up. I wouldn t have purchased a mild Connecticut at this price otherwise. Beautiful cigar, wonderful burn, construction, perfect draw, ash held on for 2 inches at a time. Creamy smoke, hints of nut and wood. Not much else. I just don t enjoy mild cigars in most cases which is a personal preference. If you like this flavor profile then this is an excellent choice. It s obviously a premium stick to anyone that knows cigars. Just not for me. I won t give it a bad rating simply because I don t particularly enjoy these flavors because obviously many people do. I feel like I d be rating a seafood restaurant by a person that doesn t like seafood. Unfair. I smoke mild Connecticut sticks maybe once every few months usually doing an outdoor activity where I m not sitting down paying attention to the flavors.
