"Good but less than expected!"

Java Mint is a nice smoke. I waited till i finish the box before I reviewed and this is what I have come to. I went into this box with high expectations and was sort of let down. The smell of the cigar is very present as my wife repeatedly told me as well as others around while enjoying the cigar. Now as for the smoke its self the burn was really even on the whole box except one. The one burned very fast and completely uneven but as i said it was only one out of the whole box. As stated in the name the was a very nice flavor of coffee and mint but the mint had a tendency to over take the other flavors. I found the last 1/3 the most enjoyable part of the experience that was consistent threw the whole box. I was sort of disappointed in the lack of intensity. The flavors were there but were quite weak over all other than the mint flavor that dominated over everything else. Over all this was a very mild and light smoke and well recommended for an entry level smoker or someone looking for a light good smelling cigar to share with friends that don t smoke often. I found the best time for me to really enjoy this smoke was in the early morning with my cup of coffee before starting my day. I am most likely not going to get another box but will probably keep just a few on hand for something different from time to time but will not be a staple in my collection.

This was my first infused cigar, and now I m hooked. Some sweetness on the lips when you start, and is lighter than it looks. It s a wonderful finish after a nice meal and you just want to sit outside, enjoy a milder whiskey and a great smelling, sweeter cigar like this JAVA MINT.

I know cigar purists thumb their noses at infused cigars, but I really enjoy this one. Very pleasant aroma according to friends sitting next to it’s thick, creamy smoke. I like to use this as a “dessert” cigar in the evenings. Definitely going into the rotation.

"I dont get the hype"

Ordered this stick as part of a sampler as I had never tried any of the Java line from Drew Estate who I will say is my all time favorite. Almost ever6 Drew Estate branded stick I have had has been an absolute winner. This Java mint was probably thw weakest Drew Estate stick I have tried. It smelled good out of the wrapper. The build was exceptional. I sparked it and it was pretty much downhill from there. I got a plain tobacco flavor with a weird throat numbing feeling like what people who smoke menthol cigs describe. I continued to smoke for a bit but it was just borimg compared to my normal sticks. Normally I will continue smoking to see if any new flavors pop up but this was so weak I put it out before I even got 1/4 of the way through. People that enjoy the traditional non infused cigar types may enjoy this for a twist on flavor but for me it was so boring I didnt even want to see what the rest of the stick offered.
