"A good everyday Cigar"

This is a very good everyday cigar.

"thoroughly non-plussed"

I purchased a single stick from my local tobacconist for $4.50. This cigar has been highly rated by most, but I was disappointed. This cigar was definitely not full strength, mild-medium at best. Poor construction and even worse burn characteristics ruined my experience. This cigar had a smooth character, but no real flavor till halfway through when I picked up a little spice. It quickly disappeared. If this were a $2 cigar, I would say try it, but at higher prices, don't waste your money. I smoked a Monte' white Rothschild two hours before trying this one. Monte had more flavor, more spice, and was STRONGER. Would try again with better pricing, but not until then.

"Holy SMOKE!!"

Yeah, the emphasis is on the smoke- wow. This is definately not for beginners. Beautifully constructed cigar here. The draw on the one I had was incredibly easy- almost seemed too easy. The volume of smoke on each puff was crazy. I was thinking, "where is this smoke coming from?". I would like to try the natural version to see how the taste differs. The maduro's smoke was thick and spicy. By the time I hit the half way mark it was almost too much for me. I don't smoke cigars to get "knocked down", so this wouldn't be a regular in my humidor. In the Rocky Patel section I still prefer the Vintage '90/'92 or the Sun Grown. Definately worth checking out, but buy a single or 5 pack before investing in a box. Yikes!

"Smaller in size, but not in taste."

I love the Edge Torpedo but sometimes I don't have an hour or more to sit and enjoy one. I found this and for a half hour to 45 minute smoke it was perfect. Felt like I was smoking the regular Edge that I love with all the spices and kick. I will definately stock these as well as the Torpedo's in my humidor. Thanks Rocky.

"Heck, I liked it! Liked it alot!!!"

This was a very nice ride. A powerful ride but really really nice one. The stick looks like a round chocolate bar, smooth dark and it glistens with oils. When you lite her up all your senses are tuned into this little dynamo. It is strong, but there are sooo many layers to be explored. I can't say it really mellowed any through the smoke, it more ebbed and flowed with constant enjoyable flavors! If you like full bodied, this is a MUST try, you owe it to yourself.
