dryd out ends, bitter extremely disappointed how these got such a high rating is beyond me. maybe i received the last of the lot.

"GOOD CIGARS BUT BOX SMELLED OF PAINT"

These are good, serviceable cigars at a good price! I m glad I bought them. But R&J has to do something about that white painted box in which they come. On opening shipping container I smelled a chemical paint odor. It came from the painted white cigar box ... which I believe was encased in cello, then wrapped in some kind of decorative paper. Beneath all this was the glossy white box, the coating of which was odiferous and unpleasant. It was as though the coating had not cured before packing. I put the cigars in my humidor and tossed the box. The cigars weren t affected by the paint odor and I am enjoying them ... but that white box has got to go!

"Excellent and Flavorful"

If I tasted this one blind I m not sure I would have guessed it was Romeo Y Julieta but can see similarities in hind sight with other blends of the brand. Definitely medium but not on the strong side. Flavors concentrate to floral nutmeg and a hint of herb. Good draw with a satisfying chew once warm. Burns a bit unevenly but can be controlled. Good with coffee, un-peated scotch, and possibly low IBU beers.

"Excellent"

As a casual, social only, cigar smoker who likes to bring their own cigars, the Capulet is my favorite. Excellent draw mild to medium taste without the days and days of lingering after taste. Great for the beginner, as well as a casual smoker, who knows what they like. Frequent or everyday smoker may think it s a waste. Everybody I have ever given a Capulet will general by some for themselves.

"Used to be 5 star"

For the longest time, these cigars were 5 stars. They looked like the one in the picture with the white paper around the cigar. Several months ago, I got a box without the paper which I liked better but noticed right away that these new cigars did not burn evenly every time. Several boxes later all of the new packaging I get a couple in each box that burn so badly, I have to trash them. Very disappointing. Now I have to find a new everyday smoke. Something changed late 2020 with production indicated by the new packaging that really dropped the quality.
