"they only get better with time"

I initially got these Fumas AMS in toro size over a month ago. At first it was just enjoyable to me, as an every day budget smoke. After 1 month of accumulation in the humidor the flavor has really been awakened. A nice medium mix of leather, spice and earth with excellent an draw, burn and construction. There is absolutely no reason this Rocky Patel for less than $2 shouldn t be in every humidor.

They re well crafted and smoke fine. But after the third or fourth cigar you re tired of the flavor. The first time you smoke one it s great and you ll be happy because its a good cigar for a great price. The flavor isn t as amazing as the regular American Market Selection. The price and quality are what makes the Fumas a good buy. But compared to the regular American Market Selection, these are second rate. The Fumas are great to try. Don t buy the bundle because you don t want to be stuck with 20 cigars that you may not be crazy about.

"RP FUMAS waste of money"

Don t waste your money on these cigars. The inexpensive ones from a local smoke shop are better. Bought a 5 pack and can t even smoke them unless you want a mouth full of tabaco. I m throwing these in this trash.

"Do not buy. Shouldn’t share RP AMS name"

These should not share the Rocky Patel American Market Selection name. I read the other reviews and immediately bought 2 bundles. I was very excited to get my “almost as good as the real thing” RP AMS sticks. Those other reviewers didn’t get the same cigars I got, that’s for sure. The are not terrible.... you can smoke them, but a cheaper decent version of RP AMS?.... absolutely not. The draw is too loose, even after a few months of proper humidification. The taste is ok but in no way similar to RP AMS. The construction, appearance, burn are all ok at best, but certainly not good. Anyone considering buying these likely tried the RP R80 Connecticut “factory selects” actually factory seconds . Now those were a decent quality, cheap, good tasting alternative to the RP AMS. I bought several bundles of those and smoked them in place of my favorite smokes until famous no longer carried them. These are not even anywhere close to the R80 Connecticut. They aren’t even good for the price. I missed the opportunity to return them because I waited to see if I could fix them in my Humi, I couldn’t. I’ve given away all I can. The remaining bundle will be given away at the golf course or hunting camp one or two at a time to my non cigar smoker friends and certainly never be purchased again. In the world of $10 and $20 good cigar, the RP AMS is already kind of a discount cigar. Just smoke the real ones, and if you want super cheap sticks, definitely look elsware. Even at $2 each, these are junk. If you want a good, cheap Connecticut wrapper smoke, try famous buenos naturales.

"Nothing short of amazing for the price"

I recently purchased a bundle of these as I like the American Market Selection boxed cigars. Their burn and flavor was just as great. These are now my go to everyday smoke. Nice aroma and smooth mellow flavor. I will definitely purchase again. Thank you Rocky Patel and Famous Smoke!!
