"The real deal."
With so many different go to cigars for me San Cristobal, Avo, Perdomo, Camacho, Oliva S-V Melanio, Oliva Cain and a few others , getting around to the highly regarded PLasencia lines took awhile.
Plasencia is very highly regarded by long time and sophisticated cigar afficionados. This is my review based on it being delivered and having sat in my humidor for about a week I will review again after letting it age for a few months or more.
THis PLasencia is the real deal but I imagine it would be even better with some legitimate aging in the humidor. Creamy smooth mild to mediumesque sweet smoke cocoa bean, a little sweetness, etc. in the first half truly one of the best first halfs of a cigar I have had and a little tougher, less creamy and flavorful in second and this is where I think a bit of aging will bring out every maxed out flavor in this powerhouse- that being said, I really feel a cigar should be at its peak when you get it, although aging really does magic for cigars .
The cigar is supple and soft to the touch, with a great sweet wrapper, and a thick great smoke. It truly is in the elite class of the finer smokes I have tried. These cigars are expensive for sure, but worth it as far as I am concerned. Perfect- No; Excellent- Yes!! I suspect aging will make it near to perfect.
I hope this review is helpful.
