"Good taste, TERRIBLE construction"

A friend at work gave me one of these. I had heard good things about them and was eager to get into it. So, my wife and I were killing time on a Sat evening on the patio, and I remembered I had this stick. It was a bit difficult to get an even light, but I finally got it going. The draw was tiiiight, and it burned wonky. I had to do 2-3 starter puffs before I drug on it in order to get any smoke. I didn t get alot of mouth taste, but the retrohale was very good. A little sweet and very smooth. Then, about an inch into it, all hell broke loose. It kept trying to go out, the ash flowered terribly and kept calling everywhere. Then...it went out. I re-lit it, and it tunneled. I touched it up, and it went out. This went in for 20 mins or so, and I gave up. I threw 4 -5 inches of cigar away. If this cigar had burned properly, it more than likely would have been an excellent smoke, because it has a good start. Taste - 4 stars Construction -0 stars

"Not flavorful"

If you are a fan of the Tabak Especial, Acid brand or other coffee or flavor-infused cigar, these may not be for you. I ordered these based on the prior reviews thinking they are espresso flavored; they are not. Extremely strong and somewhat bitter, they are hard to smoke. I ll be ordering in Tabaks next time.

"Humidor worthy"

I always like the Partagas Black Labels and the Magnifico is no exception. The first 2 I smoked right out of the box burned inconsistently, but after a couple weeks in my humidor, the cigars we re fantastic. A very dark wrapper gives a nice, full flavor. The draw is effortless and flavorful to the end. The only negative about the cigar is it takes a few draws to start tasting the full flavor and the last 1/4 of the cigar is not so tasty. Otherwise, a great smoke!

"Frustrating Cigar"

These are were my favorite cigars. When they are constructed properly and burn properly, they are perfect for me. The flavor is great! The greatest frustration is when you look forward to a relaxing smoke after a long day of fighting with co-workers and then coming home only to fight with your cigar. Sometimes only 1/2 of the cigar burns, other times you can t get a good draw until the end of the cigar. I m in the process of looking for a new daily cigar.
