"Good flavors but needs rest. Loads of aging potential."

These cigars are a strange beast. The reviews are nearly all really favorable but there are a few like one here that are the opposite. My cigars arrived really wet. Extended shipping times dang caronavirus , middle of summer 100 degree weather for days on end, and shipping shock did a number on these when they arrived.
Tried to smoke one ROTT and I too got acrid and terrible bitter flavors. Let them rest for two weeks and tried another. Still less than stellar but much improved. Tried a third one after dry boxing for 24 hours and clipping and putting in the fridge for about 30 min. MUCH BETTER! The flavors finally came through sweet raisin, sweet cedar, spices, and leather predominantly and the cigar was very enjoyable. I think the ageing potential on these is incredible. So much so that I ve purchased 100 to bury in the humidor. Quality for these blowout prices is unheard of.
I went big on some other Villiger closeouts as well in the past and it was a similar process of being disappointed at first but then being tickled pink once enough time passed and realizing what gems I had. I expect the La Vencedora will be the same. This time though, I won t be kicking myself and wishing I purchased more when the getting was good. Get them while you can! less

Had a really good one and the next was poorly constructed and not good.. Villiger c mon! This is basically how I felt about their Yeclan and San Diego Colorado both highly rated and promising but lack consistency between sticks.. less

"TASTES LIKE A DEAD ANIMAL!"
I ve been looking for a good 8,9, $10 cigar. ... more
I ve been looking for a good 8,9, $10 cigar. Famous had 5-packs of these on Cigar Monster for $20.00. There was one review, it was 5-star, so I thought I d give them a try. AAGGGHHH!, the taste is sooo bad! It tastes like something that s been lying under the back porch for a couple of months. I just tried to smoke the fourth one of my 5-pack last night, couldn t finish it. Haven t been able to finish any of them. The construction was pretty good, some hollow spots. How can anyone put out a cigar that tastes like this and charge $40.00 for a 5-pack? I don t get it. I have one left what should I do with it? Thanks to Famous for printing all of their reviews, good or bad. less
CigarAuctioneer.com is equipped with an "Auto-Bid" feature that will automatically
update your bids and help increase your chances of winning an item. The "Auto-Bid" feature will
submit a higher bid automatically, up to a maximum amount determined by you, each time you are outbid
by another user.
NOTE: Auto-bidding is not available for Dutch and Yankee Auctions.
You need not do anything to use this feature. Simply enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay for
the lot. As each new bid is submitted, the system will verify that you still have a
winning bid. If you do not, it will raise your bid to one bid increment above the current high bid, up to
the maximum amount you submitted, to maintain your winning status.
NOTE: You may increase your maximum bid (Auto-Bid) at any time. However, the
maximum bid MUST be at least one bid increment greater than your previous bid.
Why is there a "gap" between my auto-bid and the previous high bid?
CigarAuctioneer participants who use the Auto-bid option may, at times, find that their actual bid is posted
higher than the current high bid PLUS the bid increment, for a particular auction. The reason for this is as
follows and important in understanding how auto-bids work:
When you place an auto-bid, you authorize CigarAuctioneer.com to place bids for you up to the auto-bid amount you
entered. To see how an Auto-bid can "jump" over the bid increment, please read the following example:
Let's say a given auction has a starting bid of $40 and a bid increment of $3.00. BIDDER #1 has already placed an
auto-bid for $61.00, so the system appropriately places an actual STARTING bid of $40.00. The following day, BIDDER
#2 places an auto-bid of $65.00. Since an auto-bid of $61.00 already existed, BIDDER #2's ACTUAL bid will be entered
as $64.00 NOT $43.00 as would be expected.
Why does this happen? In this example BIDDER #1 agreed to pay up to $61.00 for this item. Since he was the FIRST to
place an auto-bid, he was guaranteed to be the high bidder until the actual bid reached the amount of his auto-bid (
$61.00). Therefore, the lowest bid BIDDER #2 could place, would be one bid increment above $61.00 - in this case
$64.00, which would make BIDDER #2 the highest bidder.
Changing Your Bid
You may increase your bid price or quantity, at any time.
NOTE: You may NOT delete a bid or reduce your bid price or quantity.
Reserve Price Auction
Some auctions have a reserve price, a hidden minimum price.
Here's how it works:
A reserve price is the minimum price we are willing to accept for the item.
You are not shown the reserve price, only whether or not the reserve has been met.
We are NOT obligated to sell the item, if the reserve price is not met.
The winning bidder must meet or exceed the reserve price and have the highest bid.
When you're bidding in a Reserve Price Auction, bid as usual, entering the amount you're willing
to pay for the item. Watch the label next to the current price to see whether the reserve price has been
met. Until you see that the reserve price has been met, there have been no successful bids in the auction.
Once the reserve has been met, the item will sell to the highest bidder when the auction closes.
