"Why did they change packaging?"
Been smoking LGC s since the mid-90 s.....remained my fave, go-to smoke after countless brands disappeared or changed blends. Well, the box of Churchills I bought a few weeks ago not only changed the label and box but the quality as well. I bought a newly labeled en Cedro today with the same verdict. Time to find another brand. So disappointed, but maybe this is my time to quit.

"An excellent all-occasion smoke"
This cigar replaces the Romeo Y Juliet Churchill as my "standard" cigar due to superior quality control. Nearly every cigar in the box yields an even burn, smooth draw, and great flavor. Unfortunately, the R & J's of late have yielded about 10 sub-standard cigars per box.

"Not the brand it once was."
This brand has faded in recent years. It was bold, spicy, aggressive, handsome. Now it's bland, user friendly, ugly. The construction quality has declined too. A boring, one-dimensional smoke.

"Anytime , any occasion, this one s good."
A bit bland at the open but quickly improves as it burns down about 1/2 and continues with a balanced, smooth, medium , flavorful smoke.
An anytime cigar but better after dinner or your whiskey of choice. Both should be sipped.
