This is an excellent cigar in both construction and quality tobacco! Rich in chocolate and smooth draw. Slight fruit and cinnamon notes in a beautiful cigar. Nice weight straight burn will be buying a box next time!

Illusione 88 Robusto Candela
"Pleasant Smoke"
Format: Robusto, guillotine cut, quad flame torch lighter. Construction as expected. Draw was good, but required several touch ups with the lighter to correct uneven burn. Flavor is very mild and consists of cardamom and toasted oats throughout every stage. Smoke is thin and light with very little aroma. Flavors on the pallet disappear literally within seconds. Would be a great choice to pair with any beverage from coffee and tea to any beer, wine or hard liquor. Also a good choice to enjoy with a rich meal. More of a purpose built stick as opposed to a daily driver. Keep 4 or 5 in your humidor for when the situation arises.

I never get bored of these. You don t need to be a rich man to smoke a really good cigar. You just don t. This is a go to favorite BUT its better than just a go to stick. Nicaragua baby! Complex flavor bomb, earthy spicy. Yeah.

This has been one of my favorite cigars for years, when you can find them. Deep, rich, complex flavors, medium - full body. Great smoke output. Glad to see Famous is carrying them again.
