HELP: Auction Search & "Watch List"

Keyword Search
"Keyword Search" performs a keyword item search, using the item's name. For best results, enter as much of the item's name as possible in the search text box (Ex: Avo Petit Belicoso) then click the "Search" button.

"Watch List"
You may now place ANY item, whether it is currently on auction or not, in your watch list. You may also choose whether or not you would like to be notified via email when an item in your watch list comes up for auction.

PLEASE NOTE: the "Watch List Auction Notifications" is a new email category, and therefore EVERYONE has been opted-out. Please see below for instructions to opt-in to this email.

Items currently on auction may be added or removed from your watch list in a number of ways:

1. Click on the "Add to My Watch List/Remove from My Watch List" button from either the auction home page or the auction details page.
2. Place a checkmark in the box under the column heading "Watch", from any search result page, and click on the "Update Watch List" button.

To add items to your watch list that are NOT currently on auction, you must first locate the item(s) using the Auction Item Search feature. Click on the Auction Item Search button, which may be found in the upper-right corner of most pages. There are 10 different criteria you may search on. You may use 1, 2, or all 10 criteria to locate the item(s) you are interested in adding to your watch list.

A new column titled "On Auction" will appear on the search results page. The "On Auction" column will display the current status of an item. If the "Bid Now" button appears, the item is currently on auction. If a date and time appears, this is when the item is scheduled to be on auction. If a "N" appears the item is not currently on auction and is not scheduled for auction at this time.

You may view or bid on an item, without adding the item to your watch list, by clicking on the "Bid Now" button. To add any number of these items to your watch list, place a checkmark in the box under the column heading "Watch" and click on the "Update Watch List" button.

To opt-in to the "Watch List Auction Notifications" email, click on the "My Account" link, place a checkmark in the box titled "Watch List Auction Notifications", and clicking on the "Update my Account Settings" button. After you opt-in, you will receive an email only once per day which will include a list of one or more of the items in your watch list that have just become available for bidding on that day.

As always, to view your watch list, click on the "Items I'm Watching" link, which is located in the left column under the "My Auctions" heading. The watch list page is now divided into 2 sections. The top section will display items that are currently on auction. The bottom section will display the remainder of the items in your watch list.
