"Awful taste"
Think of the worst tasting machine made cigar you have ever had. That would be better than these. The strength is nowhere near medium, and they tasted like a dirty towel, On the plus side, it looked nice, burned and drew well, hence the 2 star rating. I am throwing the rest of these in the trash.

"Good but not Great"
Decent stick for the money. Had an uneven burn and was a difficult draw. Hard time keeping lit and felt like I had to smoke fast which built up tars. Got bigger bitter taste on palette the more I smoked. For the price I would try again to see if I got a dud.

"PREMIUM QUALITY"
Prefer Nicaraguan, but got a deal at auction, and thought I d try them out. I ve smoked a lot of Premium dominicans though, and these stand up to them. Great construction, great draw & burn, great flavors. Like I said, I prefer Nicaraguans. But, I m going to add some of these to my humidors. And, they re made by PDR for Famous. That s why I tried them.

"Real nice!"
I ordered just one just to try it. I wish I had ordered more. It’s a beautiful cigar. Burns well, draw is nice, smokes great. And I only had it in my humidor for about 2 weeks. Smokes like a more expensive cigar. Not hurting for cigars at the moment but next time free shipping is available I’m jumping on em.

"TOO mild"
They arrived perfectly humidified, as verified by my humidimeter, so I smoked one as soon as they arrived. Sure, they have a Connecticut shade wrapper, and the filler is Dominican. But, these are so mild, that even if you paired them with water, the flavor would be overpowered. I have some famous dom. 3000 maduro torpedos, and they are really nice. Well, most of them. Some are bland, but most in the bundle are rich in flavor. On the mild side of medium. But, in general, tasty. But, I ll be fair. I ll retest after a month in the humidor. Or, maybe tomorrow I ll decide to send them back. These are made for famous by PDR. So, it s a bit disappointing. Even for a bundled cigar. Even considering the Connecticut SHADE wrapper.

"Spectacular failure"
Exactly like the guy in Texas, the burn is BEYOND belief...dense smoke rushing out of the end all the time..you can t even smoke them outside! Something terribly wrong with the components/construction and all that I have tried do this so its a systemic defect. Won t bother trying anymore so I am just out the money. DO NOT BUY THESE! I have spent 60 K at Famous over the years and this is worst cigar I have ever experienced. Famous has their name on them as well and should investigate who made them, whats happened, and get it rectified!!

Do not buy. Inconsistent burn,Will not stay lit, Mushy and bad roll. I m throwing them in the trash after 3 of the bundle.
