"Poor construction"
My biggest issue is construction. The first two I ve tried have split or unraveled 5 minutes in. It could be construction or I got a dry batch. Seems to draw well. Flavors are nice but recommend more time in the humidor. After reading the initial description I hoped to taste some flavors I ve enjoyed in the Pepin cigars I ve smoked. Not the case. There are definitely better cigars available for less. I won t buy again.

"What I like"
nice spicy nicotine tingle but it is not overbearing, I quite enjoy that in a cigar, noticeable uptick in spice with light notes of almond and leather near the end. If you have ever chewed on a medium roast coffee bean that is what I pick up most in this cigar. really enjoyable, no construction issue , good burn!

These are a treasure. No mildness almost no sweetness but not overpowering. Similar to a Punch with a dark wrapper but a little less bite. Very silky. Lovely.

"I wish they were better"
Despite the other reviews I did not have a pleasant experience with these. My first one tasted okay so, I put the rest in my humidor to see if they improved. It only went downhill from there. Over several weeks of trying them, each one thereafter treated sour. I even felt nauseous after one of them.

I really like the flavor of Mi Barrio cigars, but these seem to have a consistent issue with the wrapper cracking and flaking off.

"Underwhelming to a Full-Bodied Smoker"
These cigars first disappointed me when I opened the box and saw just how light the wrappers were. Certainly not a dark natural. I smoked a couple off the truck, gave some away, and smoked a couple some months later. They improve with humi-time, but to me they remained mellow to medium bodied sticks with a slight spice, creamy cedar, and not much else. Medium strength. Not bad if you prefer medium-bodied cigars.

"Beautiful cigar..."
A beautifully constructed cigar! The first thing I noticed was it s oily wrapper. No soft spots. Nicely capped. I decided to punch-hole the cigar. Lots of smoke, very even burn and dellicious aroma. Not much in flavor department at this stage. Ash held on for 2 inches before having to be knocked off . Flavor didn t come into its own until at least 1/2 through. Then it was pure leather, nothing more. Bottom line: Beautifully constructed cigar. Draw was great. Lacking in flavor for my taste which is usually medium or medium to full . Would certainly purchase again. Reasonably priced and a great everyday smoke. If you re into mild cigars, don t pass on this one!
