"Flathead V642"

This cigar is well presented, box pressed. Lights up evenly and smoothly. Tastes of graphite, chocolate and a hint of honey. It never surprises though and tastes exactly the same throughout the entire smoke. Paired well with a top level bourbon. Be that as it may, I probably won’t order it again. It’s like many other cigars that are good but don’t knock your socks off.

"Would buy again."

This is the first box-pressed lancero I’ve smoked. The draw was easy. Flavor in the 1st third was a blend of black pepper, traditional tobacco, and cocoa. The 2nd third mellowed the pepper a bit and barely increased the cocoa flavor. The final third was anti-climatic. Burn line was razor sharp throughout. Smoke was thick and creamy with occasional odorous hints of baking spice. While lanceros can be more exciting, this was a pleasant smoke.

"Beautiful Cigar"

This cigar is a true testament to fitting big things in small packages. It has a perfectly smooth draw, smooth and noticeable transitions of flavor through the smoke, and is made very sturdy despite being a smaller ring cigar. had to make a few touch ups to keep an even burn but overall i would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a full flavor maduro cigar.

"Nice Stick when something mild is wanted"

No major complaints with this smoke other than the draw being very tight upon lighting and the first 3rd. Loosened up in the 2nd 3rd. Very slight unraveling of the wrapper after clipping. Did produce a beautiful ash.....exceeded an inch. Not much in the way of a variety of flavors. Taste was pleasant but very one dimensional. Think coffee with cream. Looked to be much stronger. Not for every day but for a Sunday morning on the deck with a nice espresso it will do just fine.

"Oh, yeah"

These cigars convinced me that many cigar makers don t know how to do a maduro correctly. Just the right amount of ligero, full-blown maduro... oh, yeah.

"Nice lonsdale"

Nice box pressed Lonsdale with a beautiful oily wrapper. Probably not going to be liked by big ring smokers. I find the wrapper to filler ratio to be well balanced. Nice sweet and chewy maduro with a very tobacco-y flavor. Somewhat middle of the palate chewiness with and carmel/leather finish. A well made and flavorful cigar in the upper medium bodied range. I recommend.

"Not the Best"

Really looking forward to the Flathead, but was not impressed. it was okay, but not great.

Surprisingly smooth smokes well even and consistent well earthy taste full of flavor without extra unnecessary flavor

"Amazing cigar!"

I have fallen in love with this blend and this size is perfect. Very smooth and creamy. Very well made and the fact that I got 2 hours on one smoke while driving was a great bonus.

"Overall disappointing"

I ve had two of these cigars and when the first one had issues I assumed it was just a dud and gave it another chance. The cigar couldn t stay lit for the entire first half I had to relight it 5 times . The flavors weren t all that great either. This is stronger than what I m used to and I got a great buzz off of it but I d say the flathead is more trouble than it s worth.
