"Great tobacco, awful smoke"

Love the taste of these but I am sick and tired of the canoeing and crooked burn, a ring that is glued to the outer wrapper and causes damage when removed and the steep price. I fortunately and finally found a replacement smoke with none of these issues, great taste at ? the price.

Avo no. 6, 6 x 60 is my one of my 6 go tos others being Melanio V, San Cristobal Quintessence, Camacho ABA and BXP Conn , Perdomo Habano or Champagne 10 Yr , and Plasencia AF. AVO is unparalleled. Plush creamy smoke, top shelf. And always good. Not Padron, not My Father, not Davidoff, not anything is consistently as good. MIld to medium, packed with flavor. Absolute 10!!!!

"Great taste, poor craftsmanship, conflicted about these"

I overpay for these every month due to their flavor. It s the most appealing smooth, buttery smoke for me. That said, the construction of these smokes is awful. Some explode and crack and oft-times the outer wrapper peels off in sheets. I can NEVER achieve an even burn. I ll continue to search for another great tasting but-better built stick. So far with no luck.

I smoke a lot of cigars, but this is by far my favorite, and I am stacking that up against Padrons, Davidoffs, Ashtons, Fuentes, all the cigars that year after year win best of awards on CA. AVO classics are in my opinion the gold standard. They are a mellow medium cigar, so if your preference is full bodied in your fave flavor, this may not be the stick for you. This cigar just leaves nothing to complain about. Burn, draw, and aroma are absolutely perfect. Flavor complexity is out of this world. Each pull varies slightly from the one before in flavor. It’s creamy and woody and complex, without ever being overpowering. Like a good meal, it just keeps me coming back for taste after taste, and whispering “wow” under my breath every time. I may pull out big dollar smokes from my humidor to impress friends, but when I want to make myself happy, this is what I reach for.

"Great burn and peppery"

I bought a box because of the price and reputation. This is a very good cigar with excellent draw. Has some spice to it which I like. I Usually like dark wrapper cigars but this is probably my favorite natural wrapper cigar. I will continue to monitor Famous Smoke for great deals on this stick. Famous is my cigar source and has never let me down and neither will this cigar!
