"My Favorite Brand"
These are little firecrackers of flavor for when you can t burn a larger Padron. Been smoking these since the mid-nineties.
I also had the chance to tour their factory back then before they expanded it. They were the most hospitable and gracious hosts.
I have smoked a ton of cigars since then and have found a few brands I like. But, in the end, always come back to Padron because of consistency, flavor and most of all, price point.
As for the Corticos, I find trying to draw lightly will give you the true character since they are so small. A quick fast draw will heat them up really bad and distort the true enjoyment of flavor.

"These are my favorite small cigar!"
Padron s Cortico Maduos are wonderful when you have the itch for a cigar but don t have the time for something larger! They are everything you ve come to love about Padron with half the commitment. I find them best when lit with a soft flame for a sweet and smooth start. I thoroughly enjoy the rich flavors of espresso and coco. They burn evenly, consistently, and will hold ash for the majority of the cigar. They do get harsh in the last third. If you slow down you can get a nice finish, but at a typical pace they have a hard finish. Seeing as I smoke these when I m on a tight schedule I just jump ship on that last third. I typically buy the box of 30 and from box to box they are very consistent. I have a dud mixed in a box here and there, but they are few and far between.

"Not a real Padron, not a real maduro"
May be I got a bad tin.
A full strength small cigar, but not as good as the bigger ones. It said that it is a maduro cigar, but just can t taste any sweetness from it.
Coarse wrapper and draw is little bit tight.Construction is not very good, The first half is acceptable as a small cigar .
However, after the half way point,it becomes tunnel burn, and taste harsher and bitter.Go get x000 series instead of it, if you want a real muduro cigar.

"Not what I expected"
I bought a tin of these over the weekend at a local cigar shop and was excited to try these. The person working there told me it was a sweeter smoke, although I like the more rich flavor for a cigar I decided to try them anyway. The flavor tasted like a machine rolled swisher sweet you would get from a convenience store, and while I was smoking it the outer leaf unraveled. I was not impressed with this and will not purchase these again. The appearance of the packaging is nice and they smell very good, they also burn nicely but the construction of it was less than satisfactory. Overall I would give this cigar a 5/10.

"full, rich flavor and aroma"
I like a smaller cigar for ease in carrying it in my handbag, I am a petite woman and only smoke full size cigars at home. This is the perfect cigar for having on hand and great quality!!

"Very tasteful! I love it! Not consistent though."
I LOVE the Corticos Mduros. Nothing has come close in taste (except other Padron cigars). It's a medium body to me with flavors that will please the palate. It's in between a cigarette and cigar size. Perfect for smoking in a car where you dont want a full volume of smoke. I can wait to head to work or home so I can light one of these babies up. The only negative thing to say about these is out of the 6 cigar tin that I purchased, 2 of the cigars where duds. Lacked flavor so consistency is a problem. Either way, this does not deter me from buying more. They taste that good.
