HELP: How to Register

Before you can take part in all the fun, excitement and savings at CigarAuctioneer.com, you must register with us.

NOTE: If you are already registered with Famous-Smoke.com, there is NO need to register again.

To register on CigarAuctioneer.com you must provide the following information:

• Your first and last name
• Billing and Shipping address (you may change your shipping address later)
• Phone number
• Email address (also your "log-in" name)
• Password
• Nickname (your User ID)
• Date of birth

1. When setting up your account, your email address will also be your log-in name, which, along with your password, is required to log onto CigarAuctioneer. A cookie will be created to identify you each time you visit the site. NOTE: If you are already registered with Famous-Smoke.com, you will use your current log-in (email address) and password to log onto CigarAuctioneer.com.


2. Nickname/User ID: Your "nickname" is the name or "handle" you create to identify yourself when you bid on CigarAuctioneer. Your nickname/User ID, which will appear during the bidding process, is also a way of ensuring your privacy. Because your nickname/User ID is unique, it cannot be used by a third party for spamming. When you create your nickname/User ID, the system will tell you if someone else is using the same nickname/User ID. If this is the case, the system will prompt you with an alternate nickname/User ID, or you may continue until you have created a unique nickname/User ID on your own.


3. Credit Card Information: You do not have to provide a credit card until you are ready to bid on an item. Anyone may freely browse CigarAuctioneer.com without providing a credit card number. You only need to enter your credit card information once. All subsequent visits to CigarAuctioneer.com will only require you to enter your log-in name and password. This will help speed your entry into the auction so you can start placing bids right away.


4. There is NO FEE to register on CigarAuctioneer.com, nor will your credit card be charged for creating an account.


5. Bidding is also FREE. You will not be charged for bids placed on items. Your credit card will be charged only in the event you are the winning bidder for a particular item.

Famous Smoke Shop, Inc. respects and upholds the privacy of all our customers. The information you provide to us is held in strictest confidence. As a general rule, we do not share account information with third parties. However, on RARE occasions we do rent account holder mailing addresses to third parties (email addresses & phone numbers excluded) with companies offering products and services we feel may be of interest to our customers. If you do NOT want this information shared with third parties you MUST opt-out by removing the checkmark from the box that states: "You may share my mailing address with selected other companies" on your account information page.

All bids placed on CigarAuctioneer.com are completely SECURE. We use the latest encryption protocols for transmitting sensitive information over the internet (SSL3). The use of software cookies on our site is solely to expedite and simplify your use of the site.
