Excalibur 1066 Galahad
"One great cigar!"
Ordered a five pack and they aged for about 3 months. I pulled one out to smoke while I played poker with the guys the other night, and man was I blown away! I had read review in other places that made this cigar out to be "not for the faint of heart." It was the opposite, this cigar is for everyone! Smooth, tasty, great construction, amazing burn/ draw. Burned perfectly even the whole way through, and no re-lights! I bought these to share, now nobody is laying a hand on my Excalibur 1066's!

"Taste was nice, construction not so much."
I really like the taste and draw on this smoke. It's just too bad the wrapper began to fall apart just after half way though it.

"Superb gentlemen and ladies just superb !!!!"
I purchased a 5 pack and found them to be a perfect cigar. Great taste, fine burn, easy draw. I'll be buying a box of these beauties. I also found them to be mild even as they started to burn my fingers. Try a glass of good Port with them -- superb gentlemen and ladies just superb !!!!!

"A very nice medium to full, peppery cigar"
The Excalibur 1066 is nice change of pace from the standard Excalibur. Just as smooth, but with a nice medium-to-full spicy and peppery flavor. A great choice when you want something with good flavor, but not a big powerful maduro.

Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight
"Awesome"
I bought these originally because of the Excalibur 1066 lore, a good customer rating, and the price. However, I love these cigars. Great draw, great flavor. I did have a problem occasionally with one or two of the cigars unraveling, but overall great cigar, especially when they did NOT unravel. Some folks complained about the oily, leathery feel, but that did not bother me. In fact, it's a plus. With a name like "Dark Knight" did you expect a feathery light strawberry taste?

"Light, sweet, and pleasant"
These definitely need some aging time. The first stick I tried had a crazy amount of bitterness to it. After 3 weeks in the humi though, these are amazing. The are mild, with a huge amount of sweetness that builds throughout the pallet. I caught some vanilla in there, and some cedar toward the end of it. All in all, very pleasant.

"It's OK"
Got a pack of 5 and tried one after they arrived. The flavor was great for the first 2 inches but then tasteless so I just let it burnt in my ashtray. Will try another one after a couple of weeks aging.

"Worth It"
The burn was okay for the first half or so, and the taste is superb. Not bad for its price.

"Like the Movie overrated"
Don't get me wrong they are good, just like the movie The Dark Knight, But they are no way near as good as expressed in these reviews. The burn on them is pretty much awful, I haven't had one yet burn as it should. The taste isn't bad, but why spend six bucks on one when you can get a whole five pack of Swisher Sweets from your local gas station for the same price. Also the draw is pretty good I've smoked three so far and only one gave me problems. They do look awesome and are constructed properly they just aren't my cup of tea... I'm not saying you shouldn't try them, but for sure you want to buy them at a discount and not full price.

"Incredible smoke!"
I've been looking for a reasonable priced ($2-$4) cigar that's not too strong but not a hard draw either. The Excalibur 1066 is perfect! Flavorful, easy on the mouth/throat and a very even burn. Can't recommend enough!
