If you like flavored cigars you will enjoy this

Been picking up an occasional one of these at my local cigar store, at $4 each, its a pricey 4x38, online is an improvement. Maybe if Clint was smoking these he would mellow out some. The wrapper is definitely sugary sweet, but the cigar is a nice, expensive, quick smoke. They burn a bit hot, and with a lot of time in their own humidor, mellow out and are nice to smoke. I was surprised how sweet they are compared to the probably aged ones at my local cigar store. Nonetheless, I still like them, especially with sweet fruity juice drinks. Pricey, and best fresh.

Not my cup of tea

If you like to taste never ending sweet, like you have artificial sweetner in your mouth, then you will like these. These are extremely mild and actually have little to no flavor except for the sweet.
I like my coffee black so I was not really pleased with these.

luscious!!!

As a husband and wife who have grown to love cigars, he likes the maduros and she likes the more light pantello styles...
We have traveled to little towns to watch cigars made and left with treasures- our tastes vary from mood to mood.
We both LOVE acid brand for a pleasant and relaxing sweet smelling twist.
There is enough variety in the brand to keep us busy -
She likes blondie but wishes it was a little longer. Nice slow burn, fragrance that sweetens and a calming perfect draw.
We agree that acid cigars are LUSCIOUS!!!!

New Favorite Cigar

I have tried alot of cigars looking for just the right flavor...I have finally found it. The Acid Blondie is now my all time favorite smoke. I have turned on many of my friends to this cigar and they are now hooked as well. The wonderful flavor sticks with this cigar through the whole smoke and doesn't become over powered half way through like most cigars.

This cigar is.....

Honestly, my unbiased opinion is that this cigar is a glorified swisher sweet. The major difference is that these cost about $2.79 from this site, and a little more at my local shop. That's ballsy, DREW ESTATES. You'd have a better chance at blowing a pine tree through your sinuses and that would probably feel better. Why in the sweet name of all that is good, was this cigar even in a humidor?

Great tobacco ruined by sugar & perfume

The construction of the cigar was very good. The roll was not too tight, nor too loose. I was very excited about my upcoming smoke. As I pulled the cigar out of it's plastic sleeve I was overpowered. Not with the smell of tobacco, but instead with a smell more like the perfume a stripper would wear. Regardless, I tried to put the smell aside and enjoy the cigar.
I brought the cigar to my mouth expecting to taste the wonderful variety of tobaccos used for this cigar. Instead, I felt like I was putting my lips around a lollipop. It tasted like my lips were coated in sugar.
The cigar did pull very nicely and the construction was very good. I forced myself to smoke it and could actually taste that the tabacco was very good, but the perfume and sugar taste never went away. I was able to force down about 3/4 of the cigar before I began feeling sick from the smell.
I gave one to my brother and one to my brother-in-law, they were only able to finish 1/4 of the cigar each. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the cigar and confused as to why everyone ranks the cigar high.

Heavenly!

I wrote a review of the Blondie after I smoked one blunt; it was my first flavored cigar and I was aghast. At first. Having ordered a box on faith in the ratings and not being able to give them away (no friends smoke flavored cigars), I said, "What the hell" and smoked another. Then I said, "Hmmm...that wasn't so bad" and so smoked another (not chain-smoking, of course). By the fourth cigar I was a convert. Since then I have tried just about every one of the offerings in the Acid line and the Blondie remains my favorite. I just won an action for 2 more boxes and am looking forward to enjoying these soothing, delightful, sweet little cigars. Truly a comfort smoke.

Mild and Very Sweet - A Woman's Cigar

I bought a box of these cigars based on 2 things: they come from Drew Estates, and the high average rating of a large population of raters. This is one of those instances where you can't trust anyone. I was getting ready to light up a Natural Dark Angel when my box of Blondies arrived. With great anticipation I switched to the Blondies and before I could get it lit I was overwhelmed by (1) the sickening smell of potpourri in which they are packed, and the sweetness of the wrapper. Once I had smoked one about half-way down and could taste the tobacco through the sugar, it was an okay blunt. I will try to give these to my wife.

Loved the taste!

I'm new to cigars and to smoking; never smoked cigarettes or cigars, but now enjoy sharing the relaxing time of smoking a cigar with my husband on the porch in the nighttime cool temperatures. I enjoy a mild flavor with a subtle aftertaste. The Acid Blondie was perfect the first time I smoked it. I loved the flavor and the mild taste; then the aftertaste was wonderful! As I have smoked cigars, I have learned that my "taste" changes the more I smoke. With this cigar, I couldn't wait to get to my computer and order 40 for my home humidor!! I'll definitely share with girl friends who smoke cigars. My favorite drink with cigars is Irish Cream on the rocks. Very nice!

Very good for a very small smoke.

Comments about scent are accurate - a tie die wrapper would be appropriate. Nevertheless a good smoke. My only objection is the sweetener applied to the wrapper.

Wonderful and exciting

I am new to the cigar world but this is one that I completely enjoyed. Being a female, it was perfect. I buy them all the time and LOVE them. I am glad to see that Drew Estates make these. :) They are wonderful after dinner and with a nice glass of red wine.

Great short smoke...Perfect for beginners!

Won a box at auction. Yes, the aroma reminds you of a headshop, Yes, it is a bit sweet, but it is a flavor bomb! Very tasty and pleasing to the palate, and I enjoyed it all the way to the nub. It is an especially good cigar for a beginner smoker. A mellow, pleasing 20 minute smoke!

Ehh, I dont know about this one

I am not a big fan of this cigar or the whole line myself, it is to sweet and some of them are just straight weird to me. But, I will say this, a have a few friends who love these cigars. They are not big aficionados but they do enjoy a good smoke so this is a cigar you need to try for yourself, if you like a solid tabacco taste and not a flavored cigar this probably wont become a regular in your humidor.

God Awful

A friend gave this to me with a warning it is not you average cigar.
OK I know these things are dipped in something, way too sweet, lit it and threw it out. Friend or no friend I would not give this away.

Blondie and a Perfect Martini - Yes

Some may claim this to be a "dessert" cigar. But I suggest that this cigar is great with a before-dinner Martini. The botanicals in the cigar join the jumiper of the gin to become a most enoyable treat before that special dinner.

Short and Sweet

The Blondie is sweet and aromatic. When I don't have the time for a larger size cigar the Blondie is just right. Nice flavor, never harsh.

My absolute favorite cigar

I fell in love with this cigar many moons ago and have recommended it to both guy and girl friends and they just love it. It's the perfect size for a quicker smoke and the taste is out of this world. I always keep a few of the Blondies in my humidor. I'd highly recommend these unique cigars to those persons that enjoy a milder and smaller cigar.

Good with a surprise ending

I found the overall smoking of this cigar to be quite enjoyable, but whilst the begining was excellent and the middle good, then ending was terrible. I was quite frankly shocked. It has a nice aroma and good burn, so I was surprised when the end started tasting worse and worse until the final puff tasted liked burned eggs.
All in all, I say the whole experience was good, but the end could have been better.

Good

Nice, medium sized smoke. Good flavor till about 1 inch left. I like the twist off cap. A lot of smoke for a small cigar. Really enjoyed the mild flavor. Very smooth.

Hope you like saccharine

I bought a Blondie because the shop was out of 1400ccs. It smelled great before I lit it, so I was expecting a nice smoke. In fact, the smoke itself is pretty good, but the wrapper was impregnated with a sweetner that seemed sweeter than sugar. Terrible!

Candy Cigars

Remember those bubblegum cigars from your childhood? I think they were less sweet than these things. And at least you could blow a nice bubble with one. These things (I can't call it a cigar)are pure junk.

shocked

After all the hoopla, I had 2 try an acid cigar.
I selected "blondie". Perfect burn, well made, and tasted like crap.Another flavored failure in my book. Tasted like potpourri.

ACID is for a lot of people, but NOT FOR ME!

I am sorry, I am sorry, don't hurt me!!!
I tried all of them, I got the sampler, I lit them here, I lit them there...but I couldn't finish most of them. Really, the Blondie, the 1400cc, the Nasty, Kuba Kuba... Didn't even smoke the whole thing.
I like what Drew Estate do, as a company, but this line simply has too much perfumated aromas for my palate.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Jonathan Drew must be smoking crack!!

Ok, so I've finally finished up my ACID sampler tin -- thank God I'm still alive! Every single cigar, from the Kong to the Blondie to the Nasty to the little scraps of leftover tobacco they rolled up and called mini-cigars, were in one word...GROSS! Yeah, they all had that "interesting" aroma to it (I'd rather refer to it as a smell), but they all tasted pretty nasty (in fact, one of the cigars is named Nasty!). Overall construction of the different cigars were average if not slightly better, but then you light it and just wonder why you bothered. Each had that "taste" to it, that weird, perfume like potpouri that smells like cheap perfume and pretty much tastes like what I would imagine it would taste like if you sprayed cheap perfume in your mouth. So, I tried to look past that and focus on the flavor of the tobacco...big disappointment there too. When you go beyond the "flavoring" they add to the tobacco and taste the tobacco itself, it's pretty bad. Cheap tobacco is all I can say, like the stuff they use in Philly Blunts or Swishers. Then if you want to get technical about it, the ash was very dark grey to black in almost every cigar, the ash was also very loose and flaky, I couldn't keep the cigar lit despite my best efforts, and most of the cigars burned unevenly and unravelled. So to end this book, I wasted $50 on this sampler tin when I could have bought a box of La Fontanas or Flor de Olivas and enjoyed every one of those. When I look at the price for a box of any line of ACID cigars, I think "rip off". If you must try, buy the smaller sampler sets or buy one or two from a local shop before buying a whole box...or just do the smart thing and buy a quality cigar that actually tastes like a cigar!

Sweet and subtle with a knock out punch

Started out sweet and subtle and, in my opinion, a little weak, a very easy draw, it got much more pronounced the longer it smoked. By the end it was a totally different smoke, surprisingly robust and left a sweet taste on my lips for a long while after. Yes, I'll have another thank you.

Much Better than My First Acid Test

This little smoke was fine, much better and a totaly different experience from the previous Nasty roll I had last night. More in-line with a traditional smoke but with a expected flavor that was smooth and sweet. In my opinion $3.50 may be a bit more than what I would spend to smoke regularly.

hhhmmmmmmm.....perfect

My husband and I, with several friends, usually sit out in the backyard and relax. We have anywhere between 3-5 people sit with us. No one smoked Acid Blondies until I got several. Now the whole group is hooked. It tends to be a favortie with the ladies, but several men enjoy it as well. Very aromatic, very smooth and sweet smelling. An expensive smoke, but very satisifying and well worth every penny.
