Olor Fuerte CigarsWell...Well, not for me. Loose draw, taste is rather flat in my opinion and burned pretty hot.
This review was written about Olor Fuerte Robusto by of on February 19, 2010A great maduro that's well worth the coin!Great construction, great burn, and most important of all. . . a fantastic taste. These have a traditional woodsy DR flavor to them with a nice peppery undertone. The wrapper completes these two flavors with a nice sweet note that makes for a very pleasurable finish.
I suggest at least picking up a 5-pack, I know I will be grabbing more.
This review was written about Olor Fuerte Belicoso by Dan of Indiana on February 6, 2010Very good smoke, if you can get it to.I remember this cigar was exceptionally dark. It was dark enough for me to ponder why it's referred to as a "dark natural" when it was nearly black. I even labeled it in my ratings table as "oscuro."
Anyway, this cigar was great! It was a VERY cool burner, and was also quite robust. This is a problem for the average smoker. To keep it lit you have to puff at more than once a minute, but if you do that for too long, you may get lightheaded.
The smoke smelled leathery, but the taste was full of fruity and nutty sweet flavors, brilliant when "retrohaled."
It burned evenly, for as much that did burn (I also had issues keeping it lit, I put it down half way because it died out). The ash was a solid dense "zebra" ash. Very creamy smoke that just poured out of your mouth.
I recommend to all.
This review was written about Olor Fuerte Robusto by Stephen Martin of United States on January 14, 2010Quality construction, perfect burn, great cigar!I just had my first Olor Fuerte Belicoso after resting the box in my humidor for about a month. I am very impressed! Hints of cocoa and nutmeg, great aroma! The burn was even all the way down, no touch-ups. I can't wait to see how they are after another month!
This review was written about Olor Fuerte Belicoso by Clint of Norman, OK on January 11, 2010Good smoke, kind of averageGot a box of these from the monster figuring since I'm an Oliva Fan I'd probably like these. Left them in my humi for a month before I lit up the first one. Seemed like all of them are great till about the midpoint and then they kind of go down the tubes. Hard to keep lit and the taste kind of gets bitter and even a little rancid. Some had a perfect draw others were tight. I'm halfway through the box and the one I'm smoking now is perfect but that's one out of ten so far. I'll stick to the O's the V's and the Nubs thank you very much.
